Traffic Lights in Auckland

I don't know what is wrong with me... This month (Jan 2009) I must have gone through one orange light everyday.

The annoying thing is that I don't want to break suddenly cause the cars behind me is following too closely. Also they go through the red light.

I had this guy on the corner Thomas Rd and Chapel Road, I was on chapel road going towards Manuaku and I slowed down to stop at the orange light and the can behind me swerded and over took me on the right side at the traffic light and went through the red light.

Truck drivers hmmmm

Ohvmy god

Most of the time I when drivng with stuends and by myself I always stay away from truck on corners and at intersections

Today I had a truck driver that pulled out on thea 2 lane road and move into the right land while indicating left I got my student to wait behind the truck and trailer stopped indicationinf and the light triffic went green to turn left and he truck wasn't moving I got my student to move forword slowly and the tuck wasn't moving some guy came around the tuck and startedbro yell my student about how he could have crashed the csr

The only reason I for my studnebt to move forward aaa because the truck wasn't moving

I really don't know

I spent ages downloading and running all the spyware and anitvirus apps but finally came to the conclusion that the first was not on my computer but was trying to download itself to my computer and AVG was doing a good job to stopping it.

Looked at all the help files on how to remove it but that was useless cause it wasn't on my computer.

It only happened when I opened IE. So I figured it was because of opening IE. Ran HiJackThis, deleted all my tempory files, java scripts and cookies. that was a waste of time..

It was the website that I had set as my default page. I really should have this at the top of the page but I'm sure no one will read this.

The JS/Psyme.QM was trying to download itself to my computer. It was on the websites index.htm page at the bottom

A simple One line tutorial would be helpfully. Remve the script from the index files and it will be fine.

Removed the iframe virus code from all the index pages. It seems to have been the victim of malicious iframe attack. Hacker have inserted codes into your index page accessing upon which will redirect to a malicious Web site and will result in download of virus to the visitors machine.

Surly If you have the time to beep your horn, you have time to slow down.

Surly If you can see the road is merging you are going to be infornt or behind the car next to you. NOT trying to speed up and overtake

When was the LAST time you beeped at someone going at 60km in a 50km area.

3-5 Seconds - Making sure it's safe to turn

Making sure its safe to Turn

I really find this annoying. Specially at STOP Signs.

It's OK for everyone to Driving over 50km in a 50km area
It's OK for everyone to Driving over 30km in a 30km area
It's OK for everyone to drive through orange lights
It's OK for everyone to NOT fully stop at a stop sign
It's OK for everyone to overtake on the left
It's OK for everyone to turn with out indicating or change lanes
It's OK for everyone to leave the roundabout without indicating

I could go on but they are the most common things I see around when I'm teaching my students.

BUT it's NOT OK for a Driving School Car to wait 3-5 seconds at an intersection to make sure it is SAFE to turn.

What is the purpose of the horn? It's a warning sound. IF someone beeps at you you are going to slow down.

2009 - January Status - Alert Driving School

Whats happening in January 2009

• First week has been busy
• As always Im all over North and West Auckland. South and East Auckland was/is a bit quite. Must be my price.
• Looking at getting a new car.
• I forget that driving a car is a scary thing, with one of my students today.. Must keep reminding myself on being behind the wheel of a 10 Tonn Truck and reacting to traffic.
• I have too many manual classes
• Need to Finish off the Area Knowledge.
