I think this I'd the first time u hand to really brake hard to avoid an accident this year. We whee turning right heading to the hamilton on ramp as we came around we had a white car pull out infront of us. I had to brake hard with the dual control and apply the hand brake . Luck it was the msmual vehicle. Ok pretty sure if it was the auto I won't have been able to stop. Around 009am ish the road was wet but it wasn't raining the cars behind had to brake suddenly

Cancellation Fee
Cancellation Fee
I don’t have a Cancellation Fee
I don’t like charging a cancellation fee, I just don’t like taking money for doing nothing. If you don’t want to do the lesson, just give me a call and we can arrange another time or send me a text. It’s not a big deal for me.
I however do mind when people make a booking and don’t cancel, so when I show up at their door, there are not home.
I also do mind when people call up and say there are sick 10~30minutes before the lesson, because I’m already on my way to them or am parked outside cause the people before them cancellated
And always people tend to cough as they say, “ I’m not felling to well”.
So please call, text or email me before the lesson and let me know.
Solution:
Sending a text message to all of my students in the morning, so if someone does cancel it’s all ok. But then of the days I don’t sent a text message, that’s when I get cancellations.
Rain, fog and night:
Rain is only water…I personally don’t like driving in the rain or at night.

Orewa AA
Spend about 3 hrs driving around Orewa last friday.
The one thing that stood out was the number of hybrids there. Almost every street had one on it.
Nice looking town it looks big and clean, Mcd's wasnt that good. I'm sure that there are making there burgers smaller and charging more.
If i was going to buy land/house it would be there, but the new areas have the same houses for the whole block. :(
Class 3 & 5 Truck & Trailer Theory Test
I just did my Class 3 & 5,
Passed 100%.
Tests are always hard, no matter what others same, he first few minutes are the hardest after that its all plan sailing down hill.
The information that is in my head is and will be totally useless until i need to use it.

- Maxium permitted frward distance of a semi trailer - 8.5metres
- Combined rated strenght of lashing plased over rigid load - 1x weight of the load
- Forward distance of a trailing portion is from - the rear axis of the trailer
- Loose bulk loads must be below - 100mm
- Load may extend out form any side of the vehicle body - 200mm
- RUL -displayed on the front left of trailer and/or on truck same as truck RUL (passanger side - left)
- WOF/COF of trailer - Near rear plate of trailer
- Maximum width permitted for HT - 1.25metres longitud..
- Over dimensional flag required - if over 1metre behind truck/trailer
- Addational width of fasteners - 25mm
- Gross Wieght is - Vehicle weight and the load being cairred at the time.
